Our company places sustainable development at the heart of its strategy and strives to limit the impact of its activities on the environment. Daily actions are implemented to advance the professions and to respond in the best conditions to constraints and requirements of each.

“Authorized Agent” Security Approval for air export services validated by the Saint Exupéry DGAC.
Adherence to the charter of voluntary commitments to reduce CO2 emissions for road freight transport. This charter is part of an overall approach with a concrete action plan and is part of a consistent, reliable methodological framework recognized at national level in Transport activities by ADEME.
Certified as an Authorized Economic Operator for “Customs Simplifications” and “Safety/Security” for all Overseas, International Road and Logistics branches.
Still with the aim of helping to reduce its ecological footprint, in 2010 FATTON was the first forwarding agent in France to build a logistics site equipped with a 1,400 m² roof made of photovoltaic panels on the Lyons Saint Exupéry airport zone. Solar generation represents 180,000 KWh per year, i.e. an average consumption of 70 households. It thus makes it possible to avoid the emission of 1,450 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Over time, we have been able to convince our customers to turn to river barges on the Rhône and Seine. In fact, inland waterway transport emits almost four times less CO2 for the same quantity transported.
With appropriate indicators, the company tracks the amount of CO2 emissions for its various modes of transport. For road transport, routes are managed taking into account the optimization of the filling rate of road vehicles and the reduction of empty kilometres:
This concept is directly integrated into our approach to Sustainable Development and Energy Economics. Compliance with the quality of the operations carried out for our customers is validated by monitoring key indicators studied with our teams.
To coordinate all our commitments and meet new challenges, a Sustainable Development Committee was created in 2008 and placed directly under the authority of General Management.
